Job Description:Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste and reduce food costs.
  • Follow portion control guidelines and ensure accurate food preparation according to recipes to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and cook sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items to the highest quality and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cooking station to ensure food quality and safety.
  • Support the kitchen team in preparing food quickly to meet customer demand during peak times.
  • Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment at all times.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking stations, kitchen tools, and equipment after each shift.
  • Ensure food is stored correctly and keep track of stock levels to ensure proper inventory management.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and sauces as required by the kitchen team.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary training or experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with preparing wraps, sandwiches, and other quick-service food items.
  • Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency.
