Job Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities
- Review and understand electrical packages, drawings, specifications, and health and safety requirements including updates
- Verify contractor compliance with contract documents through inspection, measurement, testing, and QA tracking
- Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, and site activities
- Undertake site supervision and inspections as instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
- Document observed activities, locations, methods, personnel, and equipment used within assigned areas
- Report on materials deliveries and implement site instructions issued by project leadership
- Apply and enforce site quality control and quality assurance procedures
- Prepare site measurements and basic surveying checks as required
- Monitor compliance with quality, performance, and code requirements during inspections
- Monitor health and safety practices on site and report violations immediately
- Review electrical installation methodologies and verify alignment with approved design requirements
- Support inspections across mixed-use, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, and infrastructure developments
- Prepare clear and concise inspection reports in written English
- Coordinate with project teams to address non-conformances and follow corrective actions
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical inspection or related roles
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in buildings and applicable local and international codes
- Experience with electrical inspection techniques, testing, and documentation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail with sound problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working across commercial and residential building projects
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards
- Willingness to work on-site across multiple locations within Dubai
- Work on diverse building and infrastructure projects across Dubai
- Site-based role with strong exposure to quality and compliance practices
- Collaborative environment with experienced engineering supervision teams
