Azure Microsoft Fabric Solution Engineer (Implementation)

• Implement end-to-end data solutions on Azure using Microsoft Fabric

• Design and build lakehouse architectures using medallion (Bronze–Silver–Gold) pattern

• Develop scalable storage and data management solutions in OneLake

• Build high-performance data pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark / Spark SQL)

• Implement metadata-driven ingestion and transformation frameworks

• Ensure DIAB-compliant pipelines with strong data integrity, lineage, and auditability

• Integrate data from diverse Azure and external data sources

• Leverage Fabric Data Factory capabilities for orchestration

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipelines

• Optimize performance, scalability, and cost across workloads

• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and business teams for delivery

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric on Azure

• Deep expertise in OneLake architecture and governance

• Advanced proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark preferred)

• Strong understanding of medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)

• Proven experience in building metadata-driven data pipelines

• Solid SQL and data modeling expertise

• Experience with ETL/ELT design and optimization

• Knowledge of Azure ecosystem and integration patterns

• Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and compliance

• Experience with Power BI and semantic models

• Familiarity with Azure-native services (e.g., Data Factory concepts within Fabric)

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)

• Knowledge of real-time/streaming data processing

• Exposure to Delta Lake and versioned data architectures
