This role supports group-level financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial statements. It plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple entities and supporting audit and tax requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes for group accounts
- Perform foreign exchange revaluation and prepare hedge accounting entries
- Conduct monthly account analysis and reconcile intercompany balances
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and group reporting packages
- Review submissions from subsidiaries and coordinate with auditors
- Prepare and document consolidation and elimination entries
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve outstanding financial items
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes
- Maintain fixed asset register and lease accounting schedules
- Support preparation and submission of tax filings across entities
- Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification such as CA or ACCA
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial accounting or audit
- Strong understanding of IFRS standards
- Experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
- Exposure to commodities or related industries is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems such as SAP or BPC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
