This role focuses on managing critically ill pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art PICU, supporting multidisciplinary care, and driving clinical excellence and quality improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities
Provide expert care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
Perform advanced procedures including mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and invasive monitoring
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals
Mentor junior staff and support clinical education programs
Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to international standards
Participate in clinical research and continuous professional developmentIdeal Profile
Medical degree with board certification in Pediatric Intensive Care or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
Minimum 3-5 years of post-board experience in a consultant PICU role
Western training required
Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure
Strong expertise in advanced pediatric critical care procedures
