Senior SH and E Advisor - UAE National - AECOM - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Act as the primary project contact for safety, health and environmental matters on site
• Identify project-specific SH and E requirements in line with UAE legislation and AECOM standards
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety plans, policies and regulatory obligations
• Conduct daily site inspections and document observations using project reporting systems
• Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely close-out of safety findings
• Support development and continuous improvement of health and safety programs and procedures
• Identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures to reduce workplace risks
• Investigate workplace incidents, injuries and environmental complaints and prepare detailed reports
• Provide technical guidance across environmental, health and safety disciplines under general supervision

• UAE National with Family Book in compliance with Emiratisation requirements
• Minimum 8 years of experience in safety, health and environmental roles within construction or engineering projects
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering or related field
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent certification for non-safety degree holders
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and international ES and H standards
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Excellent reporting, communication and stakeholder coordination skills
