Job Description:The Production & Events Director will provide strategic leadership in the planning, production, and execution of world-class cultural programs, international festivals, and large-scale performing arts events. This role is responsible for ensuring all productions and events are delivered to the highest artistic and technical standards, on time, and within budget, while driving innovation and excellence across the department.Key Responsibilities· Lead the overall production strategy, ensuring seamless execution of multiple large-scale events and festivals.· Direct the work of the Producing and Production Department, overseeing planning, scheduling, and budget management.· Manage and mentor direct reports, including Production Managers, Visual Arts Managers, Production Executives, Senior Project Coordinators, and seasonal/technical staff.· Drive collaboration across internal departments to align production outcomes with organizational vision.· Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as artists, cultural leaders, venues, event agencies, embassies, and cultural foundations.· Oversee vendor and supplier relationships (logistics, hotels, caterers, technical providers) to ensure smooth event delivery.· Uphold international quality benchmarks in event delivery while maintaining fiscal responsibility.· Represent the organization in external forums, strengthening partnerships with global festivals and cultural institutions.Requirements· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Event/Production Management or related discipline (preferred).· 8–10 years of proven leadership in event production and management, preferably within arts, culture, or large-scale international events.· Advanced computer literacy and strong project management capabilities.· Arabic language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.· Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage high-profile projects, large budgets, and diverse multicultural teams.Work Location:· Abu Dhabi( ) and follow us on our social media accounts - /Follow the Black Pearl channel on WhatsApp.Disclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form of charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
