External Law Firms - To ensure transactions managed by external lawyers are dealt with in an appropriate manner in line with ADCB policies and Business Units instructionsACCOUNTABILITIES:Legal AdviceUsing professional expertise and experience, provide advice to the business on the legal implications of commercial decisions and transaction structures to assist mitigation of legal risk under the supervision of Legal CounselTransaction ManagementManage simple transactions by liaising with external counsel and the Documentation Unit (if required) and the business to achieve commercial aims.Policies, Processes, Systems and ProceduresAdhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholdersCustomer ServiceDemonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.Self-ManagementManage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performanceSkillsEXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIESMinimum ExperienceNo prior banking or legal work experience is required. An internship at a bank or law firm prior to graduation preferableMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from a well-recognised university in law, or another degree coupled with a recognised conversion courseKnowledge and SkillsKnowledge of UAE law and practice.Problem solving skills, analytical skills, drafting capabilities, expert written and spoken English or Arabic
