The Consultant will lead multidisciplinary collaboration, ensuring high standards of surgical care, innovation, and patient outcomes in a tertiary care environment.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex neurosurgical conditions including tumors, trauma, spine, and vascular disorders
- Perform advanced neurosurgical procedures using microsurgical, endoscopic, and minimally invasive techniques
- Lead multidisciplinary case discussions with neurology, ICU, oncology, and rehabilitation teams
- Oversee pre-operative planning, intraoperative decisions, and post-operative care
- Ensure compliance with patient safety protocols and clinical quality standards
- Participate in audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and service improvement initiatives
- Mentor residents, fellows, and junior staff while supporting clinical education
- Contribute to research, innovation, and evidence-based neurosurgical practices
- Medical degree with specialization in Neurosurgery
- Board-certified (CCT, FRCS, American Board, or equivalent Tier-1 qualification)
- 8-10 years of post-specialty experience in tertiary or academic hospitals
- Strong background in complex neurosurgical procedures
- Proven leadership in multidisciplinary clinical environments
- Eligible for DHA Consultant License
- Commitment to continuous clinical advancement and patient safety
