- Provide comprehensive financial leadership and oversight for a group of companies.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the entire financial reporting cycle for all group entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP).
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group.
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, including accountants and analysts.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with external auditors.
- Oversee internal controls and ensure adherence to best practices in financial risk management.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize financial performance.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- CA (Chartered Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior financial management role, preferably within a group of companies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multi-entity financial operations.
- Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience leading and motivating a team of finance professionals.
- Proficient in financial accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A results-oriented and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic fluency is an advantage.
