The Consultant Neurologist is responsible for providing expert clinical care across a wide range of neurological conditions, ensuring accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and long-term management aligned with international healthcare standards.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and migraine
- Interpret advanced neurodiagnostic investigations including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to manage complex cases
- Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to clinical audits, research initiatives, and continuing medical education
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, regulatory standards, and patient safety guidelines
- Medical degree with specialization in Neurology
- Board certification in Neurology from a recognized authority
- Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization clinical experience
- Strong expertise in neuroimaging and neurophysiological diagnostics
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
