The Senior Full Stack Engineer will take ownership of backend-heavy development while contributing to full stack solutions where required. The role involves building scalable Java-based services, integrating with cloud and data platforms, and actively shaping architecture and technical direction, particularly within data-driven and open finance environments.Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java as the primary technology
  • Build and integrate cloud-native services, primarily on AWS
  • Orchestrate service-to-service communication, including integrations with Lambda and Python-based services
  • Contribute to frontend development using React.js where needed
  • Design and improve system architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Work on data-centric projects, pipelines, and service orchestration layers
  • Proactively identify technical gaps, propose improvements, and challenge design assumptions
  • Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver robust solutions
  • Ensure high code quality, security, and best engineering practices across the stack
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years experience in software engineering
  • Strong and proven backend expertise in Java
  • Experience as a full stack engineer with working knowledge of React.js
  • Solid experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Experience integrating distributed services, APIs, and serverless components
  • Background in data platforms or data-heavy systems is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of open finance domain is an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of system design, architecture patterns, and scalable platforms
