Transforming the world.Wood has been awarded an Onshore Project to support an International Client operation by providing Brownfield Engineering & Design Services. The Vision of this Contract is to enhance the production & assets integrity across various locations. Team of Engineers and Designers based in Basra and Dubai supports execution of these projects. Projects under this contract focuses on Flare system revamps/re-ignition, Rehab of aging assets, BTEX emission control, Flare Gas Recovery & Replacement/upgrade of obsolete equipment, piping & systems.What we can offer

The key objectives for this role are:
  • Graduate level understanding of Engineering practices, design methods and calculations
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to their discipline of engineering
  • Demonstrates the application of theory in a practical context
  • Graduate level of competence in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution
  • Graduate level of knowledge of regulatory framework and associated legislation.
  • Graduate level of competence in own discipline in the execution of assigned tasks.
  • Graduate level of knowledge of industry and technology development within discipline area
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret and prepare applicable technical information and suggest design changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results
  • Demonstrates awareness of policies and procedures that affect specific job assignments
  • Ability to prepare accurate, effective, complete and easily understood written communications and reports
  • Good level of general computer literacy and basic familiarity with some relevant specialist engineering software
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
