- Analysing system threshold data, resolving problems and performing escalation processes.
- Monitoring systems, WAN IP streaming links and satellite downlinks and uplinks.
- Performing operating system and application software patch upgrades.
- Offering support for all areas of broadcast to field staff and bureau locations.
- Experience in IP encoding/decoding solutions
- Experience in system and network security.
- Previous experience in systems support, incident Management, hands-on server and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Windows, Network Operating Systems and of server/network management systems
- Understanding of Fibre and delivery methods.
- Skill in implementation and operation of IP/web-based solutions (e.g. HTML, .NET, JAVA etc.).
- Full understanding of Video and Audio from Analogue through to High Definition.
- Degree/ post graduate in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
