Analysing system threshold data, resolving problems and performing escalation processes.
Monitoring systems, WAN IP streaming links and satellite downlinks and uplinks.
Performing operating system and application software patch upgrades.
Offering support for all areas of broadcast to field staff and bureau locations.
Professional Qualification.
Experience in IP encoding/decoding solutions
Experience in system and network security.
Previous experience in systems support, incident Management, hands-on server and network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of UNIX/Windows, Network Operating Systems and of server/network management systems
Understanding of Fibre and delivery methods.
Skill in implementation and operation of IP/web-based solutions (e.g. HTML, .NET, JAVA etc.).
Full understanding of Video and Audio from Analogue through to High Definition.
Degree/ post graduate in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
