- Deliver best-in-class, bespoke verbal and written aviation and maritime security assessments to a multinational client base operating in complex and high-risk environments
- Own and manage aviation and maritime security cases from receipt through resolution, ensuring accurate documentation, timely escalation, and clear client communication
- Collect, analyse, and disseminate security, safety, or disruption issues affecting aviation and maritime operations, in line with guidance from regional and functional analysts, including monitoring crisis escalation indicators and threat triggers
- Maintain continuous situational awareness of the global aviation and maritime security environment through structured research, intelligence monitoring, and analysis
- Draft, issue, and update alerts, advisories, and assessments, ensuring consistency with MedAire risk methodology, escalation thresholds, and quality standards
- Deliver training, briefings, and consultancy engagements for clients and internal stakeholders as required
- Travel on an exceptional basis to support crisis response, client engagement, or professional development, and to develop local aviation and maritime networks where appropriate
- Develop and maintain a thorough, current understanding of geopolitical, aviation, and maritime developments affecting client operations and risk exposure
- Become fully conversant with and comply with all internal systems, tools, and procedures, including attending mandatory and role-specific training as agreed with line management
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within proprietary systems, covering case notes, assessments, and client communications
- Exercise sound judgement in determining when issues require escalation to senior analysts or management, particularly during crisis or time-critical situations
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and accountability in all client-facing communications, including during periods of elevated operational stress.
- Proven experience in aviation security, risk, intelligence, or travel-related field, such as military, government, public safety, NGO, journalism, or relevant academic research
- Experience sourcing, analysing, and briefing security information to senior stakeholders or decision-makers
- Experience in the aviation sector (preferred), ideally in security, operations, flight planning, or risk advisory roles
- Experience in the maritime sector (desirable)
- Experience in writing for senior management and business decision-makers
- Customer service/ client facing experience
- Degree-level qualification in security studies, intelligence studies, aviation security, international relations, politics, journalism.
- Post-graduate qualification in security studies, intelligence analysis, aviation security, international relations, journalism, or a related field
