Overview Of The Role:
  • The Sales Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the effective management of the shop floor, bridging the gap between sales staff and store management. They play a crucial role in client and business development, selling and floor management, and ensuring smooth operational functions of the store. A successful Sales Supervisor will demonstrate leadership presence and act as a role model in sales leadership, facilitating robust client relationships, extensive product knowledge, and supporting store objectives.
What You Will Do:Client and Business Development
  • Support the team in building long-term client relationships, leveraging different clienteling tools.
  • Enhance the "client state of mind" amongst the team.
  • Ensure extensive product knowledge within the team.
  • Support store management in achieving business objectives, projects, and initiatives such as reporting, sales analysis, and product training.
Selling & Floor Management
  • Effectively oversee the shop floor to ensure maximum floor coverage during peak trading periods.
  • Act as a role model demonstrating sales leadership to the team.
Operations
  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.
  • Accurately process all POS transactions and inventory functions such as transfers, receiving, repairs, and damages to maintain the integrity of the inventory.
  • Ensure adherence to loss prevention policies and operational procedures.
Leadership presence
  • Exemplary performer across all functions.
  • Effectively resolve customer complaints, exchanges, and inquiries.
  • Liaise between staff and management regarding potential performance concerns.
  • Propose and implement action plans to deliver efficient processes and organization of the store.
  • Educate the team on sales plans, personal sales goals, and KPIs.
Others
  • Act as an ambassador of the brand, culture, quality, and know-how.
  • Ensure store presentation standards are achieved and maintained.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and client relationship building skills.
  • Operational skills including POS and inventory management.
  • Ability to analyze and report on sales performance and initiatives.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in the retail or hospitality industry, preferably in a senior sales or supervisor role.
  • Good command of business English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook, Excel & SAP, and detailed report analysis skills.
  • Strong level of numeracy and literacy skills.
