Perform advanced glaucoma surgical procedures including trabeculectomy, tube shunt implantation, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and laser-based treatments.
Diagnose and manage a full range of glaucoma conditions such as primary open-angle glaucoma, angle-closure glaucoma, and secondary glaucomas.
Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, including long-term disease monitoring and post-surgical follow-up.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including OCT, visual field analysis, and anterior segment imaging to guide clinical decisions.
Collaborate closely with retina, cornea, and general ophthalmology teams to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education activities.
Contribute to teaching, mentoring residents, fellows, and junior ophthalmology staff.
Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, international clinical standards, and patient safety protocols.Ideal Profile
Medical degree from a recognized institution with full specialization in Ophthalmology.
UK CCT or American Board Certification in Ophthalmology.
Fellowship training in Glaucoma is strongly preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years post-specialization experience with a strong focus on glaucoma surgery.
Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority Consultant licensure.
Arabic-speaking is preferred but not mandatory for strong clinical profiles.
Demonstrated record of excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
