This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Drama teacher to step into a leadership role within a well-established, high-performing school offering a broad international curriculum.About the RoleThis leadership position will see you driving excellence across the Theatre Arts and Drama department, inspiring students through performance, storytelling, and creative expression. You will be responsible for shaping a forward-thinking Drama curriculum and leading a strong extracurricular programme including productions, showcases, and events.The successful candidate will teach across secondary level, with opportunities to contribute to IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Drama.About the SchoolOur client is a highly respected international school in Dubai known for its inclusive ethos, strong academic outcomes, and commitment to the arts.   • Lead and manage the Theatre Arts / Drama department
  • Deliver high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3-5
  • Teach IGCSE and IB Drama (or equivalent international curricula)
  • Direct school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
  • Develop and enhance the Drama curriculum and schemes of work
  • Mentor and support departmental staff
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives and enrichment programmes
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
  • Degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, or similar
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at secondary level
  • Experience with IGCSE and/or IB Diploma Programme preferred
  • Previous leadership or responsibility within a department is desirable
  • Strong production and directing experience
  • Passion for international education and student engagement
