Shabakkat Operation is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable DWDM Field Maintenance Engineer to join our Field Maintenance department in UAE - Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the below Major responsibilities points.Major responsibilities:

Operation & Maintenance of Huawei SDH & DWDM Transmission System including Huawei OSN 8800, OSN 6800, OSN 3500.
Troubleshooting, Provisioning & Testing of ISP Optical fiber
Working Knowledge of provisioning and maintaining optical transport services like

STM-1, STM-4, and STM-16.

Structured (STM-1, STM-4, 2.5G & 10G) stability test using Optical Analyzer
Site survey and data verification/collection, defining site preparation requirements, transmission equipment test and installation, recognition and response to network faults, isolation of trouble, and restoration of service within the given time frame. Liaise with the Network Operation Centre to provide up-to-date status to the customers.
To review and plan for the schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work for all transmission equipment (DWDM, OTN, SDH) of Etisalat/MTN ROADM/OLA sites
Adhering to SLAs to minimize impact to customers
Provide 24/7 Customer support- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to assist non-technical users with complex technical issues
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
