- Msc Degree in HSE or engineering degree in electrical, risk analysis or in a related field
- Ideally 2-5 years experience involving at least 1 year in HSE
- Good knowledge in HSE + electrical and/or mechanical
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- English: level C1
- French: level C1
- Develop relevant HSE procedures and templates based on company procedures
- Support the HSE Manager, technical and operations managers in their HSE responsibilities for the region
- Ensure compliance by all project contractors to relevant legislation and Group HSE requirements, with the full support of project managers
- Qualify new contractors on HSE point of view. Make sure HSE performance of contractors is reviewed after each project
- Review HSE Plans, Procedures, Method Statements, Risk assessments for the projects, & all Health, Safety & Environment related documentation to ensure compliance with Group and local requirements
- Conduct frequent and regular inspections of both construction sites and maintenance operations to check compliance to HSE plan and procedures
- Identify potential hazards & recommend solutions at all stages of projects, including design review
- Monitor implementation of environmental mitigation measures during construction and O&M phases
- Assist Project Managers to implement improvement & prohibition notice to contractors and set up recommendations & corrective actions
- Investigations of incidents, and issue related HSE reports
- Ensure proper HSE training of staff, organize HSE promotion events such as World Day for Safety & Environment
- Collect relevant information and report H3SE data.
