Provide overall leadership and direction to resident engineers, discipline engineers, inspectors, and site supervision teams
Act as the primary on-site representative for the client, contractors, authorities, and key stakeholders
Oversee construction supervision of infrastructure works including roads, highways, bridges, viaducts, underpasses, retaining structures, and associated wet and dry utilities
Ensure all works comply with contract requirements, approved designs, technical specifications, and statutory regulations
Chair progress, coordination, and technical meetings and ensure timely resolution of site and design issues
Provide senior technical guidance on utilities including potable water, firefighting, irrigation, sewerage, stormwater drainage, and district cooling systems
Provide technical oversight for bridge and structural works including foundations, substructures, superstructures, bearings, expansion joints, deck works, and barriers
Review and endorse RFIs, shop drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans, and material submittals
Monitor contractor performance, progress programs, quality compliance, and resource deployment
Review and support assessment of variations, claims, and extension of time submissions in coordination with commercial teams
Implement and monitor quality management systems and ensure proper closure of NCRs and corrective actions
Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance for high-risk activities including traffic diversions, deep excavations, heavy lifting, and bridge construction works
Coordinate with UAE authorities and utility providers for approvals, inspections, tie-ins, and final handovers
Ensure proper preparation and verification of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and handover documentation
Lead final inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and formal project handoverCandidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
Master's degree is preferred
Minimum 25 years of post-graduation experience in infrastructure, utilities, and bridge projects
At least 10 years in a senior site supervision or resident engineer leadership role on large-scale infrastructure projects
Strong experience with roads, highways, bridges, and multi-utility corridors
Sound knowledge of bridge construction methods, foundation systems, and structural behavior
Proven leadership in managing large multidisciplinary teams and major contractors
Strong understanding of contract administration under FIDIC or similar frameworks
Experience with UAE local authority standards and approval processes is highly preferred
Excellent communication, reporting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
