Job DescriptionA Postdoctoral Researcher position is available at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, College of Science, UAE University. The position is funded by the AUA-UAEU joint research grant “Codes associated with arcs and caps, and MDS codes”. The position is for one year with possibility of renewal or extension depending on the availability of funding. The package includes a monthly tax-free salary of 9000-10000 AED (depending on qualification and experience), medical insurance and round-trip air ticket. The research is focused on coding, finite geometry, and algebra. More precisely the use of algebraic and finite geometry objects to MDS and related codes, and their application to computer science and quantum information theory.
