This position is critical in providing advanced neuro-interventional care, supporting stroke management pathways, and improving neurological outcomes for both adult and pediatric patients. The role contributes to clinical excellence, service development, and innovation in neurovascular treatment within a multidisciplinary hospital environment.Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, embolization, and vascular stenting
- Interpret complex neuroimaging studies such as CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, and DSA
- Provide expert consultations for neurovascular conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in 24-7 on-call coverage for stroke and neuro-interventional emergencies
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, emergency, and critical care teams
- Contribute to development of clinical protocols and neuro-interventional pathways
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and neurovascular boards
- Mentor junior radiologists, fellows, and technical staff
- Communicate treatment plans and procedural risks clearly to patients and families
- Support patient-centered care and post-procedure follow-up
- Engage in clinical research, academic teaching, and continuing education programs
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Radiology or equivalent qualification
- Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology or Endovascular Neurosurgery
- 8-10 years of post-specialization experience including consultant-level practice
- Eligibility for consultant licensure in UAE healthcare authorities
- Strong expertise in stroke intervention and advanced neurovascular procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
