Position Type: ContractualLanguage Proficiency: EnglishRisk management, compliance, governance, and insurance-related activities.The Associate role will require someone who can liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and one will be predominantly focused on the implementation of ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), BCM (Business Continuity Management), Compliance and Governance activities. The role will periodically be involved with insurance activities. Responsibilities General ▪ Keep abreast of developments in the internal and external business environment ▪ Assist the Senior Manager: Risk & Compliance in various projects and initiatives ▪ Assist in the development and maintenance of R&C policies and procedures ▪ Assist the Senior Manager: Risk & Compliance with monthly/quarterly reporting ▪ Work with departments to ensure integrated risk management and compliance ▪ Assist the Senior Manager: Risk & Compliance with Governance & Insurance activities Risk ▪ Assist with implementation of ERM strategies aligned with the company’s objectives ▪ Work closely with departments to ensure that ERM process is followed diligently, overseeing the identification, assessment, and management of key organizational risks and ensuring that risk mitigation plans are executed effectively ▪ Assist with the development of Board and Board Committee reports ▪ Assist with the facilitation of the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) process ▪ Ensure the upkeep and implementation of BCM improvements Compliance ▪ Ensure compliance to policies and procedures set across ▪ Investigate compliance incidents, non-compliance violations etc. ▪ Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations ▪ Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies ▪ Assist with CBUAE Regulatory assessments such as PFMI, etc. ▪ Ensure that adheres to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards and provides a safe working environment.
