Senior Manager - Corporate Procurement

• Conducts a semi-annual spend analysis campaign over the historical procurement within flydubai and prepares an executive summary with recommendation to the management.
• Manages, evaluates and approves all types of Purchase Orders, contracts ,RFP etc. as per the authority assigned by the company.
• Recommends a strategic procurement plan to Management ensuring alignment with flydubai’s growth.
• Ensures that all contracts are in compliance with flydubai’s approved policies and continuously provides improvements to templates and forms.
• Evaluates and recommends changes and improvements to the procurement processes while keeping abreast of latest trends and developments.
• Implements approved process improvements to all phases of the procurement cycle - supplier identification and approval, volume realization and specifications definition to reduce and manage overall corporate spend.
• Identifies and mitigates the airline’s risk exposure through contract evaluation and negotiation and continuously evaluates the challenges faced by the business in procuring goods and services to recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Works closely with stakeholders to ensure that they are provided with all the information needed to:
• Create a well-defined scope of work and the full RFP (request for proposal)
• Identify appropriate suppliers
• Conduct necessary technical evaluations of submitted proposals.
• Presents (in coordination with relevant stakeholders) the recommendations on the final proposal evaluation criteria for implementation.
• Develops and agrees the annual procurement expenditure plan with departmental heads with emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness in meeting the needs of both internal and external customers while achieving necessary cost reduction targets.
• Provides specialist advice, guidance and service on leading practice procurement to all flydubai departments; with an emphasis on the identification, assessment and management of potential risks associate with differing sourcing strategies.
• Manages key vendor relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service and quality including technical input to negotiations on strategically significant contracts.
• Represents the company’s interest at all times and ensures procurement of operational requirements of the company with maximum cost-saving benefits with no compromise on the quality.

• Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)
