  • Act as the main liaison between internal ICT teams and external vendors to ensure smooth fleet IT operations
  • Provide timely troubleshooting and remote support for onboard systems, minimising downtime
  • Maintain availability and reliability of vessel IT infrastructure including hardware, applications, and satellite communications
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain onboard IT systems for optimal performance
  • Support fleet-wide IT enhancement projects and infrastructure upgrades
  • Assess cybersecurity risks and strengthen onboard system controls in collaboration with Fleet IT leadership
  • Implement updated cybersecurity policies and ensure compliance across vessels
  • Maintain accurate documentation, fleet databases, and system logs
  • Monitor network performance and configuration of firewalls and managed switches
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, or related discipline
  • Around 3 years of experience in vessel IT systems or maritime IT environments
  • Strong networking skills including firewall and managed switch configuration
  • Experience in Windows Server administration and VMware virtualization
  • Knowledge of vessel IT applications, database management, and cybersecurity practices is advantageous
  • Familiarity with satellite communication systems such as VSAT, L-Band, or LEO is beneficial
  • Flexible to travel and work extended hours when required
