This role is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy across general ledger accounts by performing structured reconciliation and exception management activities. It supports operational continuity by ensuring discrepancies are identified, investigated, and resolved efficiently while aligning with internal financial controls and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation and exception management activities aligned with internal control frameworks
- Maintain and update GL account reconciliations, ensuring timely follow-up and clearance of outstanding items
- Escalate ageing discrepancies and document actions for audit and compliance purposes
- Use financial systems and tools to enhance reconciliation accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare monthly AOV inputs and support substantiation of account balances
- Process issuing and acquiring related financial vouchers in line with policy requirements
- Post amortization entries for prepaid expenses on a monthly basis
- Ensure adherence to SLA and turnaround time targets in all reconciliation tasks
- Maintain accurate audit trails and support internal and external audit requests
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related discipline
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial operations or reconciliation roles
- Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial controls
- Familiarity with payment systems and settlement flows preferred
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work under pressure in a structured operational environment
