The Procurement Officer plays a key role in supporting Azizi's operational efficiency by managing diverse purchasing needs-from office supplies to labor camp accommodations-while adhering to cost, quality, and delivery targets. The role demands strong ERP/Oracle experience, contract knowledge, and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of office supplies, pantry items, and furniture ensuring timely delivery and cost control
- Source and lease labor accommodations, warehouses, and office spaces with full contract compliance
- Create and process Purchase Orders, agreements, and related documents in ERP/Oracle
- Evaluate supplier proposals technically and commercially; make purchase recommendations
- Verify deliveries, supplier invoices, and ensure alignment with purchase terms
- Develop vendor database and conduct performance evaluations
- Coordinate with project sites to validate material requisitions and align delivery with construction schedules
- Maintain accurate material records and monitor flow between vendors, warehouses, and sites
- Provide procurement reports and updates to leadership on vendor performance and contract status
- Liaise with logistics partners to ensure timely shipping and customs clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in the UAE construction or real estate sector
- Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP or Oracle procurement modules
- Proven experience in vendor sourcing, contract handling, and cost negotiation
- Understanding of UAE market for accommodations, leasing, and construction materials
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills
