- Delivering the Marketing Strategy: Execute the marketing strategy building successful initiatives that resonate with the Careem Pay brand and business goals, supporting brand awareness, customer acquisition, and growth.
- Leading Campaign Development: Manage the communications plan and calendar, oversee the campaign development process, and ensure excellence in execution, based on deep insights into user segmentation, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside growth managers, product managers, CRM & Ops leads, brand teams and various cross-functional teams to create integrated marketing campaigns tailored to different target audiences.
- Performance Analysis: Regularly monitor and analyze marketing metrics to optimize initiatives and improve performance. Success in this role means driving measurable growth in digital engagement, CRM effectiveness, and growth initiatives.
- Budget and Resource Management: Oversee marketing budgets and resource allocation, ensuring maximum ROI and strategic use of resources.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the marketing executive, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and supporting their professional development.
- Industry know-how: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategy.
- Proven Experience: At least 7 years in marketing, with 3+ years in a managerial role, preferably within the FinTech or technology/start-up space.
- Industry Knowledge: B2C experience in the FinTech sector and familiarity with the tech industry's growth dynamics.
- Educational Background: A university degree
- Collaboration Across Teams: Demonstrated success in working closely with product/technology, growth, digital, and brand teams. Hands-on experience in establishing a brand's value proposition and designing strategies to leverage this value proposition in communicating with customers to drive business growth will be considered a plus.
- Analytical and Creative Skills: Strong ability to use data to inform decisions, alongside a knack for strategic and creative thinking.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems (CMS). Familiarity with marketing tools like Google Analytics and Salesforce is a plus.
- Budget Management: Experience managing budgets and allocating resources strategically to maximize ROI is essential for this role.
- Communication and Leadership: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and collaborating effectively across functions.
- Operational Agility: Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a detail-oriented and aesthetically-driven approach to marketing.
- B2B Marketing Expertise: Exposure to B2B marketing is nice to have.
