- Research and propose content areas relevant within ADSW thematic remit.
- Develop sessions in line with ADSW strategic objectives and brand positioning.
- Work with management and contract awarding process for the Summit in line with policies, procedures and business requirements.
- Develop potential speaker list in line with ADSW objectives.
- In conjunction with Management, liaise with appointed Content Partner on all matters related to the Summit as per their duties outlined in agreed contract.
- Liaise and coordinate with Marketing & Events regarding the Summit build.
- Provide on the ground support during the Summit to the Content Partner.
- Act as the focal point of contact at Masdar for all speakers and stakeholders addressing their questions and ensuring that desired objectives are achieved.
- Develop and execute communications plan for the Summit working with ADSW Communications team.
- Liaise with the third-party/outsourced marketing team to develop marketing plan.
- Develop and execute program for ADSW and related events, as needed ensuring that all targets and objectives are met in line with standards.
- Work with third parties to execute events in line with plans and objective, ensuring that both time and budget are adhered to.
- Draft invitations for various stakeholder categories in line with overall events standards and objectives.
- Develop Heads of State and Celebrity invitation lists in line with protocols and standards.
- Work with Logistics and Operations to execute the invitation process in line with policies and timelines.
- Manage list development and approval for committees and work with ADSW Marketing on logistical arrangements.
- Develop agenda for committees to ensure that all items are covered, and that committee time is optimized to achieve objectives.
- Manage invitation and RSVP process ensuring that all members are informed on time.
- Build and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the team.
- Engage with and monitor relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and completion of services as per agreed parameters.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing or related field
- 6-8 years of experience in a similar role involving the management of the content and program of similar events
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good project management skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent computer literacy, with strong background in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent ability to plan and organize work
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail
- This role is to be based in Abu Dhabi
