🎯 Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Vascular Surgery to join a leading healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will manage complex surgical cases involving both general and vascular pathologies, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes and clinical excellence.🧩 Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced general surgical procedures including abdominal, gastrointestinal, and soft tissue surgeriesDiagnose and treat vascular conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, varicose veins, and thrombosisConduct open and endovascular surgeries including bypass grafting, embolectomy, and angioplastyProvide pre-operative assessments, operative care, and post-operative follow-upCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiologists, cardiologists, and intensivistsParticipate in surgical audits, peer reviews, and clinical governance activitiesEducate junior staff and contribute to CME programs and surgical trainingMaintain accurate documentation and comply with DOH (Department of Health) standards🎓 Qualifications & ExperienceMedical degree from a recognized institutionCompletion of residency in General SurgeryFellowship or subspecialty training in Vascular SurgeryBoard certification (e.g., American Board, FRCS, Arab Board, or equivalent)Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experienceDOH eligibility or willingness to obtain Abu Dhabi licensureProven expertise in both open and minimally invasive vascular proceduresStrong diagnostic, surgical, and leadership skills🌟 Preferred AttributesExperience in managing complex vascular emergencies and trauma casesFamiliarity with advanced imaging and surgical navigation systemsCommitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvementAbility to work effectively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary environmentFluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus🎁 BenefitsCompetitive tax-free salaryVisa sponsorship and relocation supportPrivate health insurance and annual leave packageCME allowance and professional development opportunitiesAccess to cutting-edge surgical facilities and technologies
