This role leads procurement for materials used in advanced industrial manufacturing in the defence sector. You will manage sourcing, supplier relationships and cross functional coordination to ensure continuity, compliance and operational efficiency.

Lead strategic sourcing and procurement for materials including ballistic components, automotive systems and OEM chassis parts
Review engineering drawings and Bills of Materials to ensure accuracy in planning and ordering
Oversee procurement for manufacturing and trading activities while ensuring defence sector compliance
Identify, qualify and manage international suppliers with a strong focus on China based vendors
Drive supplier performance through OTIF monitoring, development initiatives and corrective action processes
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Logistics and Finance to maintain seamless supply and production readiness

Lead strategic procurement in defence manufacturingDrive supplier performance and operational excellence

Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in defence, armoured vehicles, heavy machinery or industrial manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field
Strong negotiation skills with solid understanding of TCO and international supplier markets
ERP experience and professional certifications such as CIPS or CSCP preferred
Strong communication skills with ability to influence cross functional stakeholders
