Job Summary
  • Create and implement Human Recourse policy & procedures and ensure that the university college complies with the legal requirements and best practice.
  • Develop the University College organization chart as per business need.
  • Manage the performance management process to facilitate accomplishment of goal setting and development plans which ensures the effective retention of talents.
  • Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations.
  • Manage recruitment process in alignment with business objectives and strategic planning.
  • Design and update job descriptions for both faculty and employee positions.
  • Design compensation and benefits programs, monitor salary structures, balance employees/ faculty members' needs with cost controls, and ensure that the programs are in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives and HR vision.
  • Monitor training programs within ECUC.
  • Manage and supervise payroll process and related financial reports.
  • Prepare the Human Resource and administration budget and ensure that adequate provision is made for all activities and monitored expenditure against approved budget.
  • Build and develop ERP system in relation to Human Resources as required.
  • Prepare the documents and reports that are required by Commission For Academic Accreditation (CAA), Center for Higher Education Data and Statistics (CHEDS) and university college renewal license in relation to Human Recourse issues.
  • Empower, develop and mentor teams of HR and administration.
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of theories and practices of UAE labor law and government regulations.
  • Familiar with the labour ministry and Emirates ID portals.
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and outlook.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
  • Works as a competent member of the team, willingly providing back-up support for co-workers when appropriate and actively supporting group goals.
