The Sr Planning Manager - Infrastructure is responsible for leading project planning, scheduling, and control functions for major infrastructure projects in Dubai, UAE. This role ensures project timelines are achieved through effective planning strategies, risk management, and coordination across stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning and controls including scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules across multiple project packages
  • Provide direction to planning and risk teams while coordinating with clients and consultants
  • Review contractor baseline schedules and ensure alignment with contract requirements
  • Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and performance gaps
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain project risk registers
  • Perform time impact analysis and scenario planning to evaluate project changes
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Evaluate extension of time and disruption claims using recognized methodologies
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve planning issues
  • Manage progress measurement systems and key performance indicators
  • Lead project meetings and prepare structured documentation and reports
  • Maintain accurate records for contract administration and claims support
  • Issue delay notices and performance alerts where required
  • Manage and mentor planning engineers within the project team
  • Lead risk workshops and promote proactive risk mitigation strategies
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and automation within project controls
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure project planning
  • At least 5 years of experience within UAE infrastructure projects
  • Strong experience in bridges, highways, and underpass projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Power BI tools
  • Deep understanding of planning methodologies and delay analysis techniques
  • Ability to manage complex schedules and multi-package projects
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
