- Supervise installation of mechanical systems including HVAC ducting, chilled water piping, fan coil units, air handling units, plumbing networks, and firefighting systems.
- Ensure mechanical works are executed according to approved shop drawings, project specifications, and method statements.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other MEP teams to prevent system clashes and maintain construction workflow.
- Monitor manpower allocation, material usage, and daily productivity on site.
- Conduct inspections and pressure testing of mechanical systems and support testing and commissioning activities.
- Liaise with consultants and client representatives during inspections and approval processes.
- Ensure compliance with QAQC procedures, health and safety standards, and local authority regulations.
- Maintain site documentation including daily and weekly progress reports.
- Support project engineers and project managers in resolving technical challenges during installation activities.
- Ensure mechanical installations meet project schedules and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Three to eight years of experience working in MEP mechanical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing installations, and firefighting systems.
- Experience working on high rise residential or commercial construction projects preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and coordination layouts.
- Good communication and site coordination skills when working with multidisciplinary teams.
