The Board Secretary plays a critical role in maintaining governance standards by supporting board activities, ensuring accurate documentation, and facilitating communication between board members and management. The role contributes to compliance, transparency, and effective corporate governance.Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate board and committee meetings including agendas and documentation
- Prepare and distribute board packs and ensure timely communication with stakeholders
- Record accurate meeting minutes and maintain records of resolutions and decisions
- Maintain statutory records and corporate governance documentation
- Ensure compliance with UAE corporate governance regulations and company policies
- Liaise with board members, executive management, and regulatory authorities
- Monitor follow-up on board resolutions and track action items
- Support governance frameworks and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar governance or secretarial role
- Strong knowledge of UAE corporate governance regulations
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English
