- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate building material products
- Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and offers clearly
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and invoices
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, stock levels, and promotions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
- Work closely with the warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery
- Handle customer complaints or queries in a professional manner
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to overall store performance
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in business,
- Proven experience in counter sales or retail sales, preferably in building materials
- Good knowledge of interior materials is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, billing software, etc.)
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Fluency in Hindi and English
