Job DescriptionTo build, maintain and develop a network of high quality, relevant partners/stakeholders, analysing market trends, emerging technologies and potential opportunities, identifying/evaluating new ideas, products, services that are Banking adjacent and formalises partnerships and collaborations with startups, industry players, and other stakeholders in order to both curate content as well as act as a distribution and dissemination channel that promote the Banks content and messages and builds the strategic relationships with external partners.
  • Manage and build collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with the Banks current and potential a partners to ensure their performance is to requirements.
  • Direct and develop existing partnerships and partnership activities in order to maximise opportunities for achieving Bank objectives
  • Manage existing partner legal agreements, working closely with the Bank’s legal team and put in place new partner legal agreements as new partners are brought on board to ensure compliance to internal process and procedures.
  • Define, establish and maintain an appropriate platform for accurately tracking and monitoring the performance and engagement of partners to ensure all partners meet their co-marketing obligations under the terms of their agreement.
  • Continually identify and acquire new, high quality partnerships and channels to ensure scope of offerings.
  • Proactively identifies market trends, emerging technologies, and potential opportunities in order to source and evaluate new ideas, products, services that are Banking adjacent and formalizes partnerships and collaborations with startups, industry players, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective and productive working relationships with colleagues, third-party suppliers and stakeholders in order to support the Bank’s mission and business objectives.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations with startups, fintech companies and other industry players in order to enhance the Bank's product offerings and technological capabilities.
  • Oversee the development and execution of pilot projects and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) with partners in order to test and validate new ideas and technologies.
  • Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.
  • Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
Skills
  • At least 9 years of experience of working with financial services organisations.
  • Bachelors degree in Banking, Finance or related field
  • Has a demonstrably successful track record in partner management, preferably in a commercial enterprise
  • Extensive experience in developing 3rd party relationships to achieve corporate goals.
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail, presents reports and documents that are highly professional.
  • Proven experience in business development, innovation management, or strategic partnerships, preferably in the Banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
