ResponsibilitiesOur newest opportunity is for a talented Assistant Resident Engineer - Infrastructure to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. he ideal candidate will support the Resident Engineer in overseeing day-to-day site activities related to infrastructure works including roads, utilities, drainage, and associated civil works.We envisage success in this role to include;Assisting the Resident Engineer in managing and supervising infrastructure works to ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and local regulations.Monitoring site construction activities, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings and standards.Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and local authorities to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth execution of works.Reviewing and provide input on contractor’s submittals including shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals.Maintaining comprehensive daily records and site reports including work progress, quality control, safety compliance, and manpower/equipment deployment.Participating in progress meetings, technical reviews, and coordination workshops.Ensuring HSE standards are implemented and maintained on-site.Supporting quality assurance and quality control inspections and processes.Identifying potential delays and assist in mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines are met.QualificationsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.Experience gained from working on large-scale infrastructure projects is essentialKEO’s performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety, and our people.
