- Assist in formulating the company’s future direction & supporting tactical initiatives.
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
- Develop financial and tax strategies.
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
- Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction.
- Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and analysis activities, ensuring they align with the company's objectives in BFRP Rebar production.
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
- Manage the accounting, tax, and treasury departments.
- Oversee the financial operations.
- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced.
- Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems.
- Implement operational best practices.
- Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost effective benefit package.
- Oversee the issuance of financial information.
- Guide the overall financial strategy and decision-making processes, focusing on optimizing the financial performance of BFRP Rebar operations.
- Report financial results to the board of directors.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with all regulatory financial requirements, and maintain high standards of corporate governance.
- Develop and maintain strong, transparent relationships with investors, providing regular updates and insights into company financials and strategies.
- Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other key financial stakeholders.
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance; CPA or CFA is highly preferred.
- Total of 20 years’ experience out of which 10+ years as CFO / Finance Director in a manufacturing company.
- Experience in partnering with an executive team / Reporting to Board.
- Hands on experience in IPO process
- A high level of written and oral communication skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of the UAE financial and legal framework and experience in the Middle Eastern market.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ethical judgment.
