🎯 Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join a world-class medical team in Abu Dhabi The role involves performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures across multiple specialties including oncology, vascular medicine, and emergency care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, leadership in procedural safety, and a commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration.🧠 Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced interventional procedures including:
– Vascular interventions: angioplasty, stent placement, thrombolysis
– Oncological procedures: tumor ablation, chemoembolization, radioembolization
– Emergency interventions: trauma embolization, gastrostomy tube placement
– Biopsies and abscess drainage under image guidance
  • Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and emergency physicians to develop optimal treatment plans
  • Ensure procedural safety, radiation protection, and compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
  • Support education and training of junior medical staff and radiology residents
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research and innovation in interventional radiology
πŸ“‹ Qualifications & Experience
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Board certification in Interventional Radiology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3–5 years post-certification experience in a high-volume center
  • Proven expertise in image-guided interventions and procedural safety
  • Strong understanding of radiation protocols and interventional technologies
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills
