- Supervise daily operational activities for assigned vessels to ensure safe and efficient fleet performance
- Provide operational support to colleagues during absences and ensure continuity of fleet operations
- Keep management informed about vessel operations, budget performance, and any operational incidents affecting vessels
- Assist with preparation and management of operating budgets and capital expenditure plans for assigned vessels
- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely supply of vessel spare parts while optimizing costs and logistics
- Work with purchasing teams to identify cost saving opportunities through improved supply chain management
- Ensure vessel maintenance activities follow manufacturer recommendations and technical standards
- Promote and implement company health, safety, environment, and quality policies on board vessels
- Liaise with HSSEQ teams to ensure fleet compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Conduct onboard inspections to monitor vessel condition and prepare technical reports
- Manage vessel mobilization activities including refits, dry docking, and major repair projects
- Plan and schedule vessel repairs and dry docking operations at appropriate intervals
- Train and supervise technical staff while providing operational guidance and support
- Monitor maintenance management systems including work orders and maintenance planning activities
- Coordinate with workshop teams to ensure maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently
- Reduce reliance on external contractors by optimizing internal workshop capabilities where possible
- Ensure procurement requisitions are completed in coordination with procurement teams within specified timelines
- Lead planning and execution of dry docking projects within approved budgets
- Track technical expenditure and ensure compliance with fleet maintenance budgets
- Experience managing vessel technical operations, marine engineering activities, or fleet maintenance
- Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance systems, dry docking procedures, and marine engineering standards
