QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEESSENTIALPREFERREDEducationGraduate from a recognized nursing school (minimum 2 yrs)ACLS (for adult patients)PALS (for pediatric patients)Experience1 years minimum clinical experience plus 6 months recent experience with ventilated patients (i.e. extra 6 months adult ventilated patients for adult AN's and extra 6 months pediatric ventilated patients for pediatric AN's)Long term care or rehabilitation experienceCertification and LicensureCurrent valid registration in country of training and/or country of last employmentEligible for DOH licensingJob Specific Knowledge and SkillsUp to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issuesKnowledge of evidence-based practiceCompetent in life supportAble to work as an effective team memberSelf-motivatedAble to communicate verbally and written in EnglishAble to speak Arabic
