The Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules for Azizi Developments projects in Dubai. The Planner job in Dubai requires strong expertise in contractual planning, delay analysis, and schedule forensic support to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with contractual requirements.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated master project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project from tender stage through project close-out
- Review contract documents including scope of work, terms and conditions, and milestone schedules to incorporate all contractual obligations into baseline programmes
- Monitor project progress, conduct critical path analysis, and identify potential schedule risks or deviations from the approved baseline
- Prepare time impact analyses, extension of time submissions, and schedule narratives to support contractual claims and negotiations
- Develop and update resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules where contractually required
- Produce weekly and monthly planning reports highlighting progress status, risks, mitigation measures, and contractual compliance
- Coordinate with project managers, commercial teams, and site engineers to validate progress updates and incorporate approved variations
- Participate in contract and progress review meetings, providing planning input on schedule implications of changes and variations
- Maintain accurate records of programme updates, correspondence, and reports to support claims management and dispute resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience as a Planner within construction, engineering, or infrastructure project environments
- Proven experience in contractual planning, baseline programme development, delay analysis methodologies, and claims preparation
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools
- Solid understanding of project controls principles, earned value management, and performance measurement techniques
- In-depth knowledge of standard forms of contract such as FIDIC, NEC, or JCT and their impact on project scheduling
