Language Proficiency: BilingualJob Responsibilities:Gas Systems Operations Specialist The Gas Systems Operations Specialist supports the Gas Systems Operations Senior Engineer in administering the agreements with diverse contracting entities engaged in gas system-related functions.The Gas Systems Operations Specialist contributes to the management of gas safety framework initiatives and projects, overseeing risk management processes, establishing governance structures, and monitoring overall progress of initiatives/projects.Operations Management: Undertake site-based surveys of operational management activities carried out on gas systems, record the level of compliance (and non-compliance) with gas industry codes and standards and make reports with recommendations to the Gas Systems Operations Senior Engineer.Carry out investigations into incidents and near-miss events that occur on the gas system and make reports with recommendations on improvement measures.Submit reports to the Gas Systems Senior Operations Engineer with recommendations for performance improvements.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a similar discipline such as engineering etc. 3-5 years of experience in the operations of the gas distribution sector; the gas sector) in Abu Dhabi, regionally and internationally.
