Job Description:Our client is hiring teachers for the Travel and Tourism Vocational program to create effective and stimulating learner-centered opportunities for learning through high quality instruction that enables the development and progression of all students. To have enthusiasm for the subject matter that inspires others to have a lifelong love of learning and the motivation, skills and attitudes to be productive citizens contributing positively to the development of the country. - Teach and assess competencies in a range of Travel and Tourism related areas
- Manage the online teaching and learning using apps like MS Teams, Zoom, google docs,etc.
- Develop and share curriculum, teaching methods and resources
- Provide multiple explanations and instructional strategies so that all students learn and can present the content to students in challenging, clear, and compelling ways, using real-world contexts and integrating technology appropriately
- Advise and assist students to develop their educational and career plans
- Understand all roles and functions in industry and specifically in their particular skills sector
- Transfer skills and knowledge to students that can be applied directly in the workplace
- Manage, teach, train, guide and assess students in the workplace and in the classroom
- Mentor and guide students in their chosen career
- Implement and evaluate high quality education and training programs
- Invigilation activities
- Support and contribute to internal and external corporate events, meetings for the promotion and development of Strategic Plan
- Organizing and participation in student events and extra-curricular activities
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in Travel and Tourism from the UK, US, CA, IR, AU, NZ, ZA or Scandinavian countries preferred
- Master Degree in above related Subjects preferred
- Teaching Qualification an asset
- Industry Certifications an asset
Required Experience: - 3 Years of teaching, training, assessing experience in a reputable Vocational or Higher Education Institute
- Skills in ICT for learning and teaching
- Industry experience an asset
Monthly Salary Range:TAX FREE Monthly Salary is AED 13,694Housing:Housing allowance: AED 8,320 to 13,000 per month (depends on the campus location and marital status)First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite until accommodation is found.
