- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper bookkeeping.
- Record and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company bank accounts.
- Track and reconcile purchases, sales, and other financial transactions.
- Assist in monitoring costs, margins, and financial performance.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Handle petty cash, expense tracking, and reimbursements.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
- Support VAT filings and Corporate Tax compliance as per UAE regulations.
- Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal financial controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
- General understanding of financial operations in trading or commercial environments (transaction flow, cost tracking, and reporting).
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations; Corporate Tax knowledge is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
