Electrical and Dry Utilities Engineer - AECOM - Dubai, UAE

• Design and coordinate dry utilities and electrical infrastructure from concept masterplan to IFC stage.
• Ensure compliance with authority guidelines and standards in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and KSA.
• Develop designs for primary substations, EHV, HV and LV corridors, distribution substations, feeder pillars, and service turrets.
• Prepare telecommunication infrastructure designs including duct networks, manholes, and GSM tower coverage requirements.
• Deliver street lighting designs for various road types including ROW calculations, SLDs, load schedules, and landscape lighting systems.
• Conduct utility corridor space proofing and master planning calculations and reports.
• Coordinate with wet utilities, transportation, landscape, and building design teams.
• Prepare and manage NOC submissions and respond to contractor RFIs and technical submittals.
• Liaise with local authorities across the Middle East to secure approvals.
• Contribute to digitalization initiatives and support BIM driven workflows.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's in Energy or Electrical and Electronic Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 plus years of experience in design focused infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of HV networks up to 33kV and LV systems including calculations and reporting.
• Experience in telecommunication infrastructure and street lighting network design.
• Proven experience coordinating with Middle East authorities.
• Proficiency in BIM and relevant design software; Revit knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
