We are looking for a registered physiotherapist with enthusiasm for small animals to join this newly established practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be in charge of all the wellness/physiotherapy area. We will offer several services in this area which include: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Laser Therapy, Electrotherapy (TENS), Hydrotherapy, and Shockwave therapy.Key Responsibilities:
  • To be the guidance of the junior veterinarians and students in all physiotherapy, rehabilitation medicine activities.
  • Providing leadership across the physiotherapy/wellness area, ensuring the provision of the best practice patient care.
  • Treat a range of complaints, including spinal problems, joint problems and injuries to muscles, ligaments and tendons.
  • Facilitate post-surgical rehabilitation.
  • Devise exercise regimes for a range of conditions, from neurological conditions, to obesity, to preventative physiotherapy.
  • Working with the General Manager to improve the strategies to manage the patient flow.
  • Leading clinical standards and continue to build the culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies and procedures.
  • Provide inputs to the general management in the formulation of business plans
