Strategy1.1. Understand the importance of revenue, productivity, chargeability and the client relationship and effectively apply this understanding to daily tasks.2. Leadership and People Management2.1. Be responsible for the delivery of work with the right level of quality and timeliness for Tier 1-2 Clients2.2. Provide training and guidance to team members focusing on task performance3. Operations3.1. Be the Onboarding Specialist, obtaining information from other teams/ Client, if required3.2. Ensure appropriate controls, policies and processes are adhered to3.3. Identify areas for improvement in policies, processes, procedures and systems3.4. Implement changes to procedures, guidelines, when applicable.3.5. Coordinate reviews, billing and other internal controls to ensure that they are conducted and observed3.6. Collaborate and share knowledge/expertise across service lines and other TMF offices on specific deals3.7. Support the implementation and updating of systems3.8. Escalate technical issues and knowledge gaps, where required4. Client service4.1. Build, develop and maintain relationships with clients, auditors as appropriate as assigned within the portfolio, building a first-rate professional relationship with assigned clients acting as a secondary point of contact4.2. Ensure the delivery of services in accordance with each client engagement letter4.3. Attend client meetings, as required4.4. Share relevant information and updates to clients4.5. Oversee completion of know your client procedures for all assigned clients5. Team-based responsibilities5.1. Coordinate with the onboarding of new clients5.2. Processing of accounting and tax associated work for Tier 2 Clients5.3. Review, test and reconcile the work and data received from accountants for Tier 1 Clients5.4. Assist with the coordination and preparation of monthly and annual trackers5.5. Perform any other reasonable assignment requested by management5.6. Personal utilization of 85% - whereby 85% of hours are aligned to client work and service deliveryKey RequirementsKey competencies1. Be organized, logical and thorough in the execution of their function2. Ability to follow defined processes through basic problem solving.3. Deadline-oriented person with the ability to work under pressure.4. Ability to prioritize and manage personal workload5. Excellent time management and organisational skills6. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy7. Strives to meet service delivery standards.8. Able to respond to client needs in a timely and professional manner.9. Be trustworthy, considerate and live the TMF values13. Understands personal development areas and is driven to 'bridge' gapsKey knowledge and experience1. Has completed Accountancy degree;2. At least 4 years relevant experience gained from sizable CPA firm or multinational company; plus tax experience gained in major international professional firms is an advantage;3. Sound knowledge of international accounting practices (IFRS) and key updates;4. Self-motivated, well-organized and a strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude;5. Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office;6. Experience in Focus, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP and other key accounting software is a differential;7. Good command of written and spoken English, Arabic will be an advantage.8.
